Apple to begin trial production of iPhone 5S in December?

Digitimes has relayed a report from Chinese Source “Commercial Times.”  They claim that Apple will begin trial production of an iPhone 5model as early as December, two months after the iPhone 5 was released.

“Facing low yield rates in the production of iPhone 5, Apple has accelerated the certification processes for related parts and components for the iPhone 5S, the paper revealed.”

The report also claims that Apple could enter volume production as early as the first quarter 2013.  That’s nearly a full year earlier than expected.

Lets not forget that Apple have just released an update to the iPad 3, 6 months after it was released.  Leaving many customers unhappy.

Apple has previously kept a fixed schedule on its product releases.

I’m certain that this would be a PR disaster, they are seen as being “cool” and having actual care about the product.  However, it seems like it is turning into a money machine under Tim Cook’s leadership.

If this report turns out to be true (which I highly doubt) Apple will have some questions to answer!

What do you guys think?
